At Car Service Canberra, we believe looking after cars is about more than servicing and repairs. It is about looking after the people who trust us with them.

Jake and Monique purchased N & D Auto Services in November 2018 and, over the past eight years, have gradually built the business into what is now widely known as Car Service Canberra. We still trade under both names, but today most of our customers know us as Car Service Canberra.

We are a small, family-owned and locally operated workshop in Mitchell, providing quality mechanical services to the wider Mitchell community, including Watson, Hackett, Dickson, Harrison, Franklin, Casey, Lyneham, Gungahlin, Palmerston, Nicholls, Belconnen and surrounding areas and one of the things we have enjoyed most over the years is getting to know our customers. Many have continued to come back to us for their servicing and repairs, while others have found us through recommendations from family, friends and other local motorists.

Experienced Mechanics You Can Trust

Our approach is straightforward: listen to the customer, properly assess the vehicle and explain what needs attention and why. We work on a wide range of makes and models, including passenger cars, four-wheel drives, diesel vehicles and light commercial vehicles.

We have particular experience with Japanese and Korean vehicles, including Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Suzuki, Isuzu, Hyundai and Kia, while also servicing many other makes and models.

As vehicles continue to change, so has our workshop. Car Service Canberra has experience servicing hybrid vehicles and is qualified and equipped to work on high-voltage vehicles, including plug-in electric vehicles, for appropriate servicing and repairs. This means existing customers can continue to use a workshop they know and trust when they change to a hybrid or EV.

We are also ARC authorised (AU53331) to carry out Automotive Air Conditioning work responsibly and in accordance with applicable requirements. Technicians have the skills and knowledge to correctly undertake service and repairs of refrigerated car air conditioning.

More Than Just a Workshop

We aim to be a workshop our customers can rely on for their ongoing vehicle care, from routine servicing and log book servicing through to diagnostics, brakes, steering and suspension, tyres and more complex repairs.

We can also assist with pre-purchase vehicle inspections, including a Comprehensive Vehicle Condition Report, helping buyers understand the condition of a vehicle before making a purchase.

For customers moving between states or needing vehicle inspections and roadworthy certificates, our team can also assist with relevant NSW and ACT inspection and certification requirements, depending on the vehicle and circumstances.

As a Repco Authorised Service centre, Car Service Canberra is part of a nationwide network of independent automotive workshops. Eligible work is backed by a Nationwide Warranty, giving our customers additional peace of mind when their vehicle is serviced or repaired with us.

While the business has evolved since Jake and Monique took ownership in 2018, our focus remains the same: provide honest advice, take pride in our workmanship and treat customers with the respect we would expect ourselves.
